We are seeking a friendly, genuine, and highly organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.
We want to change the game for the patient experience in the dental office.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our dental office by handling administrative tasks with precision and a customer-centric mindset.
This position requires a blend of excellent interpersonal communication abilities, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency.
Key
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
Welcome and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Think hotel concierge in a healthcare setting to deliver a top notch customer service experience.
Manage appointments, answer incoming and make outgoing phone calls and texts, and provide information in a friendly, helpful manner as needed.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general office duties including data entry, and maintaining organized records.
Handle patient paperwork efficiently and accurately.
Financial Transactions:
Process payments, manage insurance claims, and assist in billing procedures.
Work with numerical data while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication Skills:
Engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
Maintain clear and professional communication both in person and over the phone.
Computer Proficiency:
Utilize patient management software and dental management systems to input and retrieve information.
Familiarity with electronic health records is helpful, but not essential.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, Dropbox, Asana/Slack/Trello, general internet functions.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is an advantage.
